Grown ups who write picture books and/or read them with children, join us in reading newly released picture books and discussing the elements that make them succeed (or not) as read alouds with children. We'll study the authors' and illustrators' techniques and the books as a whole. Participants will come away with techniques to apply to their own writing, as well as things to look for when selecting books for the kids they work with and a list of brand new books.

Meets the first Wednesday of each month at Chapters at 10 am. All adults are welcome.
